We know there are currently some issues with XFCE, and losing the launcher at the bottom of the screen. This problem will be corrected, once we reformulate Qimo to use the latest XFCE version. This is coming down the pike quickly, within the next week or so. In the mean time, you can follow the instructions here to recover the panels and launcher. Please be patient as we work out this issue! We will update everyone once we get the issue corrected.
